Lakeside Church at Lake Oconee is a casual and comfortable place to come and worship, fellowship with friends, and serve the Lord by serving others. We greet visitors and members warmly, offer you a warm cup of coffee to enjoy during service, and invite you to attend one of our many small groups. 
Sunday service times are 9:30 am and 11:00 am, with small groups meeting at 9:30am and 11:00am and throughout the week.

LEADERSHIP TEAM

Meet the Leadership Team

The Leadership Team will assist the Senior Pastor in providing administrative and operational leadership for the Church. Duties include:

  • Communicating the vision and values of Lakeside Church.


  • Helping to establishing new ministries and missions of Lakeside Church.


  • Implementing and adjusting the Strategic Plan.


  • Coordinating and guiding the ministries and missions of Lakeside Church.


  • Provide direction and input in constructing and managing the yearly budget.


  • Managing conflict within the church.


  • Providing guidance in selecting and performance managing of staff.


  • Appointing various other teams for specific tasks and duties.


  • Provide advice and support to the Senior Pastor.

Meet the Deacons and Their Wives

The Deacons play the role of servant leaders at Lakeside Church and will assist the Senior Pastor and staff in the role of shepherding the church members through family care ministry. 


The duties of these mature followers of Christ include such things as:


  • Connecting families to the overall ministry of the church


  • Praying for the families of the church


  • Identifying and meeting the needs of members as they arise.


  • Helping families during times of distress, sickness, and death.


  • Encouraging church members in their spiritual formation
