WHAT DID PAUL SAY ABOUT THE END TIMES?

People will turn away from Christianity.

The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.

1 Timothy 4:1

Christians will settle for a watered-down faith.

For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

2 Timothy 4:3-4

There will be a moral decay in our society.

But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God

2 Timothy 3:1-4

WHAT DID JESUS SAY ABOUT THE END TIMES?

It will be a world devoid of peace, with wars and threats of wars.

As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.

Matthew 24:3,6

There will be an increase in false prophets.

At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.

Matthew 24:10-11

Nobody knows when Jesus will come back, but we can be certain He will.

“But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

Matthew 24:36

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR US TODAY?

BE READY FOR HIS RETURN

And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming.

1 John 2:28

KNOW JESUS PERSONALLY

Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

John 17:3

SHARE JESUS REGULARLY

But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,

1 Peter 3:15
